Martin is a New Zealand Qualified Carpenter and Licensed Building practitioner with a solid knowledge and understanding of the New Zealand Building Code. We don’t see the NZBC as a target to work to, but rather a guideline. It is a minimum requirement by law, but an inadequate one, and we can help you build a better quality home.
Design choices make the most impact on your home – here we can guide you and we work with various designers to achieve the outcome you desire. From floor plan to colour selections, cladding choices and energy efficient features we can help you from concept to consent and completion.
We have built relationships with excellent sub-contractors that are all members of industry organizations that govern best practice for their trade – to give you peace of mind and ensure certainty about the level of service and quality.
Pointbreak Construction only uses materials that are BRANZ Appraised (Building Research Association of New Zealand) in areas of construction that can impact the compliance of your home with the NZBC – certificates for these can be produced on request.
Construction is by people for people and therefore we take health and safety very seriously. We have a current health and safety policy in place that is updated regularly and we run all our sites with safety as a priority.
Our process ensures that clients know what to expect when choosing to build with Pointbreak Construction and gives them peace of mind that we tick all the boxes.
